At Shadow Rose Mini Dachshunds, We only breed purebred miniature dachshund puppies, also known as wiener dogs, sausage dogs, dachshunds, or doxies! We breed with health and temperament in mind making sure puppies conform to dachshund breed standards.

Quite simply, We Care! Our dogs & puppies are our priority! We take great pride in what we do! I (Shadow Rose Mini Dachshunds) do this full time. I am at home with our dogs & puppies 95% of the time (except for store runs etc). Our dogs & puppies are our passion! I truly love what I do and it is extremely important to me that I do things the right way. We try to be as transparent and accessible as possible to our puppy parents. This means if you have questions or concerns, I’m there for you. I’m mostly unavailable for phone calls, so text messages are the best way to reach me. I always do my best to reply as soon as I receive or see your message.

We love each of our dogs & puppies dearly. It is such a blessing not only to watch our puppies be born, and grow & develop, but also to see families come and pick up their new family member. We encourage our families to stay in touch with us and send us updates on their puppies even up into their adult years.

We are active on our Facebook . You can find us our page or see our post on a Facebook group We update that page frequently with pictures and videos of our puppies and dogs. We also have a “live stream puppy feed” camera so our puppy parents can log onto the camera and view their puppy during my business hours on their smartphone or tablet. This has been a well received “perk” to buying a puppy from us!

They were always quick to answer questions and kept us updated, which made the whole process feel easy and reassuring.

Our puppy arrived healthy, happy, and very well cared for. You can really tell they put a lot of time and attention into raising their dogs in a clean, loving environment. The pickup process was smooth and stress-free as well.

One of the things that impressed us most was how well our puppy had already been started with training. She was practically crate trained and clearly used to a routine, which made bringing her home so much easier.

The process of pick up and payment was easy and fair. The pup I purchased is beyond perfect and I have already recommended Rockers to all my friends and family. Every puppy is different but my puppy Howey came home already being trained on the peepee pad. If you have a dachshund you already know this is a game changer. The puppy has had less accidents in the house then my 1 year old dachshund. I already have 3 but if I was going to get a 4th there is no question who I would go to. Thank you so much for such a wonderful experience!

Our girl Pearl was born in May 20, 2025 and came home to us in July 2025 . She is a petite princess , humble , very bright and our perfect angel .

Dawn answered our questions before & after we selected a puppy from her litter.  She updated weekly with pictures and kept us up to date on weekly mile stones,   She is very professional.  At pickup day,  we were provided with all information we needed to present our vet.  Shots were given as required.  A toy, blanket, food were provided.

Our little girl is so smart & sweet. Within a day she was comfortable in our home and befriended our older dog within a couple of days.  She's a very happy & healthy dog.  We just love her.  She came to us knowing how to go to potty on a grass pad.  That was huge!  I couldn't believe it.  We loved that  Dawn taught her that.  It's Great! She's only went in the wrong place a couple of times. Overall we had a fantastic experience & would highly recommend Dawn.  Thanks Dawn for our new girl.

Our puppies come with a one-year health guarantee. They are wormed at 2,4,6 and 8 weeks old and age appropriate shots. They also come with a pretty extensive puppy pack including their registration application to AKC and or CKC, a blanket, a toy, a Royal Canin food sample, a NuVet sample and other helpful information. Usually our mommas spend the last week of pregnancy in our bed (yes it can end up being more than one). They enjoy the one on one time with us getting lots of extra love, kisses and belly rubs. There have been countless times when my husband has woken me up because a puppy had just been born in our bed. It happens all the time. All puppies are born and raised in our home. We have spent many hours waiting for labor to progress to assist our mommies to bring these special darlings into the world. It has been a great experience each time, They are raised with lots of love, compassion, understanding and encouragement. They get the best food, supplements, toys & treats we can provide. Our puppies are well socialized. Our friends and children come to play with our puppies often so they are well use to all ages. Our puppies are usually born in our nursery room where they stay with their mommas for 3-4 weeks . The puppies are moved into our living room in exercise pens at 4-5 weeks to get use to being around a busy household and household noises. Their Mommas can come and go as they please to nurse, check on or just hang out with their puppies.

Our puppies leave at their new homes at 8 weeks old.
